Key Qualifications:
- Current New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- NY Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in the summer Extended School Year program
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a varied caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ educational and developmental goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and service logs
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each child
- Travel between assigned sites as needed to deliver comprehensive services
