Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Manchester, Connecticut

Make an immediate impact as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting young learners in a vibrant K-2 school setting. This contract opportunity runs from now until the end of the school year and offers the chance to partner with a dedicated team that values collaboration and student growth.
You’ll provide both direct therapy and evaluations for early elementary students, ensuring each child receives tailored support to reach their communication milestones. The daily schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, leaving your evenings free for relaxation or personal pursuits.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and appropriate state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
- School-based SLP experience, especially in pediatric or early childhood environments, is preferred
- Comfortable delivering both in-person and teletherapy services as needed
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and participating in PPT meetings
- Effective communicator who enjoys partnering with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver individualized therapy for K-2 students
- Participate in IEP development and PPT meetings to help guide student success
- Collaborate daily with another SLP and half-time support, providing a collegial environment and shared expertise
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress using established protocols
- Support a nurturing environment where young students feel comfortable and empowered
