Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Enfield, Connecticut
Step into a fulfilling role supporting early learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, serving kindergarten through second-grade students. Working Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., you’ll be immersed in a collaborative and close-knit environment alongside another dedicated SLP.
Ideal candidates have experience with pediatric populations and a passion for helping young students reach their communication goals. Whether you’re an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or looking to utilize your teletherapy expertise, you’ll find this assignment both rewarding and supportive. You’ll engage in evaluations, provide individualized IEP services, and actively participate in PPT meetings to share your professional insight and shape each child’s educational plan.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current state SLP license (or eligible)
- School-based experience or strong pediatric background preferred
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-2 students
- Conduct assessments and develop evaluation reports
- Implement and track IEP goals with personalized interventions
- Attend and contribute in PPT meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with a dedicated SLP colleague
