Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to determine speech-language needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families
  • Maintain accurate progress documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development initiatives
  • Offer consultative support to teaching staff and parents regarding language and communication strategies
