Highlights of the position:
- Serve an average caseload of approximately 23 students, primarily at the elementary level
- Collaborate with supportive staff across multiple nearby buildings, all conveniently located within blocks of each other
- Provide flexible, student-centered service—start and end times may vary based on scheduling needs, with typical hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, working 7.5 hours per day
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in working within pediatric and school-based settings
- Skills in assessment, intervention planning, and IEP development for students with communication needs
- Ability to collaborate with general and special education staff as well as families
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support across assigned campuses
