Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure in the state of Washington
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-5 students
- Strong commitment to collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organization, record-keeping, and communication skills
- Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students onsite at a local elementary school
- Conduct evaluations and write comprehensive assessment reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs addressing students’ communication goals
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student learning and access to the curriculum
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as required
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
