Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Possession of current SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington State
- Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification, or ability to obtain
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress reporting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to cultural responsiveness and sensitivity
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students in need of speech/language intervention
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, families, and other school staff to support student growth
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
