Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or CFY considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial, especially with elementary-aged children
- Knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Flexible, patient, and committed to fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative, evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Partner collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and families to support student goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer input for educational planning
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all state and district guidelines
