Speech Language Pathologist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year in Ludlow, MA. This is a high school-based position within a specialized educational program supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other learning differences.
The Speech language pathologist will provide direct therapy services, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and supervise an SLPA while supporting students in developing functional communication and independence skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to high school students
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Supervise and collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Support students with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state guidelines

- Structured, supportive learning environment outside traditional settings
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):
- Active Massachusetts SLP License (or eligibility)
- Experience with AAC devices and communication systems
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to supervise/support an SLPA
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Knowledge of assistive technology and communication tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education compliance
