School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Brockton, Massachusetts

Additional preferred languages include Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Current SLP-CCC licensure required
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish/English is a high priority; other valued languages are Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in multicultural teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students across elementary to high school levels
- Complete screenings, evaluations, and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s goals
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for individualized plans
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to suit each student’s language and cultural background
