Embark on a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language needs. For the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, six Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide critical, in-person services across elementary, middle, and high school levels. With the current SLP retiring, there is an immediate need to ensure continuity of care for a large group of students eager to continue their progress.

This contract position offers varied placements, allowing you to choose the right fit based on your interests and experience—whether you’re passionate about early childhood language development, working with adolescents, or supporting high schoolers as they prepare for post-graduation success. Caseloads are thoughtfully managed, with efforts to maintain assignments between 50-60 students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP state licensure/certification (or eligibility)
  • Experience supporting K-12 student populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and families
  • Flexible to adapt to elementary, middle, or high school schedules

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to diverse student groups
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student success
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide support and training to staff and families as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for program planning

Schedules vary by school level, with elementary starting at 7:30 am, middle at 7:45 am, and high school at 8:30 am, all with afternoon end times that encourage a balanced routine.
