As a valued new team member, you'll provide essential in-person speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Following the retirement of a beloved and longtime SLP, there is an increased need for compassionate professionals to support a robust caseload—ensuring continuity of care for students who thrive with direct support.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP licensure in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with K-12 students and comfort adapting to a wide range of grade levels: 1st through 12th grade
- Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
- Dedication to evidence-based therapy practices and school-based intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to assigned caseload in person
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Support positive outcomes and empower students across elementary, middle, or high school settings
Schedules may vary by placement:
- Elementary: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Middle: 7:45am – 4:00pm
- High: 8:30am – 4:00pm
