Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility
- Previous experience working with K-12 populations preferred (1st–12th grade)
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with diverse educators and families
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy in a school environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students on your assigned caseload (estimated 50-60, case assignments vary based on placement)
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the learning styles and cultural needs of students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Utilize both individual and group therapy to address speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic skills
Schedule and Placement:
- Elementary: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Middle: 7:45 am – 4:00 pm
- High: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Openings available in all school levels for placements tailored to your strengths
