Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lovington, New Mexico

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing services that foster student growth and achievement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New Mexico SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations, including diverse caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings, addressing articulation, language, and social communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress and ensure best outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and document services in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote inclusive communication practices
- Participate in student meetings and provide consultative support as needed
