Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment is a plus
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt strategies to accommodate diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and comply with all required documentation
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Contribute to school-wide efforts that promote communication skills, literacy, and social-emotional growth
