Desired Qualifications:

  • Current SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain in California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in working with middle school populations
  • Solid knowledge of assessment tools, treatment planning, and IEP documentation
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to middle school students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop appropriate goals, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate closely with educational teams, participating in meetings as needed
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of sessions and student progress
  • Provide support and resources to families and educational staff aimed at student growth
  • Adapt interventions to meet individual and group needs within a school setting
