Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current and valid California SLP credential/certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Background in healthcare SLP a plus
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor student-centered IEP plans
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to children with a range of needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain timely and accurate records, comply with school and district guidelines, and fulfill state documentation standards
- Offer consultation and support for educational staff regarding communication strategies
- Provide progress monitoring and adjust interventions as needed
