Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid California SLP licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly regarded
- Comfortable managing a middle school caseload and collaborating within an educational team
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to middle school students across a variety of abilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to educators and families
- Administer and interpret assessments to inform services and eligibility
- Consult with teachers and support staff to facilitate student success and generalization of skills
- Maintain thorough records and follow district and state compliance protocols
