Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license and eligibility to practice in New Mexico
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students onsite
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students referred for speech-language concerns
- Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student needs
