Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience serving students in K-12 settings, including grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Skill in planning and carrying out individualized therapy for students with diverse needs
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12 on a one-to-one basis
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress toward goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze results, and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to create tailored intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records in alignment with state and school procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development
