Grades K - 5 Grades 6 - 8 School Speech Language Pathologist - Los Lunas, NM

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility to obtain state licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable providing services to grades K-12
- Skilled in delivering individual and group therapy sessions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to write clear IEPs and treatment notes
- Effective at adapting interventions to student needs across varied age groups
- Commitment to promoting student success in communication and academics
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy one-on-one and in group settings
- Support students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, tailoring approaches appropriately
- Conduct assessments and interpret results
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in alignment with student goals
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and parents
- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates
- Engage in IEP meetings and actively participate in school-based teams
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student communication
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
