Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in delivering speech/language assessments, creating plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions
- Comfort working across K-12, with students who need individualized support as well as those in group settings
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic services for students grades K-12, with a focus on both small group and 1:1 support
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly regarding student growth and accomplishments
- Deliver evidence-based techniques to foster each student’s communication, language, and social skills
- Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering strategies and insights about speech and language development
