Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, CFY considered
- Experience working with students of varying ages (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and legal compliance in educational settings
- Confident in delivering therapy both individually (1:1) and in small groups
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12
- Develop and implement dynamic, individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide evidence-based therapy sessions in 1:1 and group settings
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, administrators, and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing expertise to support student growth
- Document progress, maintain compliance with district and state regulations
- Offer guidance, resources, and support to school staff and parents
