Qualifications and Skills Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Confidence working with students from grades K-12 in both individual and small group settings
- Familiarity with IEPs, evaluation tools, and therapy documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and staff
- Passion for empowering students of all backgrounds
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12, with tailored 1:1 sessions
- Assess student needs, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to multidisciplinary teams and families
- Document sessions, manage caseload, and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to foster a supportive learning environment
