Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado SLP License is required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress tracking
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary-age students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate, timely records and report student progress
- Communicate consistently with parents and caregivers regarding student goals and achievements
- Participate in school meetings, IEP conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
