Speech Language Pathologist in Schenectady, NY

Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds a valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience within preschool or school-based settings preferred
- Confidence working with children exhibiting a range of communication needs, including non-verbal challenges and developmental delays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with young children and their families
- Able to adapt and customize strategies for diverse learning and communication styles
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschoolers
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, aides, and family members to maximize student progress
- Track and document student growth and provide progress reports in line with school and state requirements
- Provide direct, onsite SLP services as part of a multidisciplinary team
