This travel SLP position spans the full school year from September 8, 2026, through June 24, 2027. With a weekday schedule of 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, you’ll manage 20 sessions a week (30 minutes each), providing services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This varied caseload helps you develop expertise across age groups, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and strengthen your resume through exposure to diverse educational settings and innovative strategies.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility in New York
- Prior experience in a K-12 school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Dedication to supporting student growth and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals
- Document sessions and progress according to school guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
