Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability within dynamic school environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students of various age groups and backgrounds
- Complete timely evaluations and document all progress accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create effective learning strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student development
- Implement evidence-based practices to address communication challenges and support academic achievement
