Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license (requirement)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong knowledge of current best practices for assessment and intervention in school settings
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs and progress tracking
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and supporting student goals
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and report progress as required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
- Provide consultation and resources to teaching staff and families regarding student needs
