School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Colorado

This full-time contract opportunity is available for an experienced SLP with a passion for fostering communication skills among young learners. Key qualifications and experience:
- Active SLP license required
- CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Knowledge of best practices for speech, language, and communication interventions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Positive attitude and commitment to student success
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy to students in both one-on-one and group settings
- Supporting teachers and classroom staff with strategies to enhance student communication
- Monitoring and documenting student progress
- Communicating regularly with families regarding therapy goals and progress
- Ensuring compliance with school and state documentation requirements
This is an onsite placement with a single school assignment, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with your students and colleagues throughout the school year. You'll have the support of a collaborative team and resources dedicated to your success.
