School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Long Beach, California

What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to tailor treatment approaches to diverse student needs
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with school guidelines
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate caregivers and staff on strategies to support communication at home and in the classroom
