Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Woodford, VA
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting students' communication and academic success. We're searching for three professionals to work full-time in contract roles, serving students from kindergarten through high school. With a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, you'll have the chance to make a positive impact throughout the school year.
Both experienced SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply. If you have a particular interest or expertise working with specific grade levels, please share your preferences — we strive to match candidates with caseloads that fit their strengths.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (or eligibility for CFs)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student care
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of progress and services
