Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in need of speech-language services
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions to address each student’s unique goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate case records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Provide consultation and support to teachers to integrate strategies in the classroom
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise towards student growth and success
- Communicate regularly with families to ensure alignment between therapy and home
