Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse needs and ages
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students individually and in groups
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to ensure holistic student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reports
- Provide resources, support, and training to families and school staff as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student growth
