Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and work well within multidisciplinary teams
- Compassion and dedication to fostering student development and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as prescribed in their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify speech/language needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational goals
- Document progress and maintain comprehensive student records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
- Help create an inclusive, supportive environment where each student’s communication skills can thrive
