Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and current SLP license valid for Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or recent relevant clinical fellowship experience
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students referred for services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student needs and educational goals
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group formats
- Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication across school environments
- Maintain compliance with district and state requirements for documentation and service delivery
