Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license valid in Colorado
- Certification by the appropriate state or national board
- Experience working in school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school) strongly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for speech and language disorders
- Capability to develop IEPs, implement therapy plans, and monitor student progress
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for students with a range of communication needs
- Serve as an active member of IEP teams, contributing expertise and supporting individualized goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and document interventions and progress
- Develop engaging therapy activities tailored to diverse ages and needs
- Offer consultative support to school staff regarding communication strategies and classroom accommodations
- Participate in ongoing professional development as required
