Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and relevant state certification
- Prior experience in school-based settings, serving diverse student populations
- Skilled in developing IEPs, conducting assessments, and documenting progress
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Adaptable to working with different age groups, from young children to adolescents
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions one-on-one and in group formats
- Engage in IEP meetings and work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Support classroom teachers with strategies to enhance student participation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and legal requirements
