Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility preferred
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
- Familiarity with diverse communication needs and therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Comfortable adapting therapy plans to individual education program (IEP) requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals and IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain comprehensive records of assessments, goals, and student progress
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student communication needs
- Attend relevant meetings to provide insight and progress updates as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Stay up to date on best practices and compliance with state and district guidelines
