Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and certification
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Ability to assess and address diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and student confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students at multiple grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, school staffings, and professional development as needed
- Provide resources and guidance to help parents and educators facilitate language development
