As a valued member of the educational team, you'll provide direct speech and language services, manage a caseload of 60-70 students, and oversee case management for 30 students. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to encourage every child's growth and achievement.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY eligible)
- Prior experience in a school environment is highly desirable
- Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention planning
- Strong communication, documentation, and case management abilities
- Comfort managing K-12 caseloads with diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services in both individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP meetings
- Track progress, document results, and maintain compliance with legal and educational standards
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
