School Speech Language Pathologist - Brainerd, MN
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year, supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. This full-time position runs from late August through the end of May and provides the chance to help shape the communication skills of young learners in a vibrant school environment near Brainerd, MN.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid SLP license for the state
- Experience in a school-based setting, or strong interest in school-based services
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Knowledge of case management procedures and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60-70 students, with case management for 30
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other special education professionals
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Support student participation and success in the general education classroom
