School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lexington, North Carolina
Embark on a rewarding school-based contract assignment supporting students' communication growth in an engaging district just outside Lexington, NC. This full-time opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with positions available in the East or Southern region of the district. A welcoming, collaborative environment awaits four Speech-Language Pathologists, including new graduates seeking clinical fellowship (SLP-CF). While supervisory support is offered for SLP-CFs, this district cannot accept SLPA applicants at this time.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina SLP license required
- Accepted credentials: SLP-CCC or SLP-CF (with supervision provided)
- Previous school-based experience, especially with caseloads including students with Autism or low cognitive disabilities, is highly valued
- Availability for the duration of the school year (8/12/26 – 6/11/27)
- Able to work full-time, 35–37.5 hours per week
- Flexible, collaborative approach and a commitment to serving diverse student needs
