Bring your expertise to the East or Southern sections of the district, working closely with dedicated education professionals. With a manageable caseload of up to 35 students, you’ll have the chance to provide focused, impactful services and help shape communication skills in young learners.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
- Hold SLP-CCC, or be eligible as SLP-CF (district supervision provided)
- Prior experience in a school environment, particularly with students with autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to ensure student progress
- Track student development and maintain thorough documentation
- Adapt strategies for students with a variety of needs within caseload range
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and district-led initiatives
