Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lees Summit, MO

In this position, you’ll manage a diverse caseload including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th graders, older students in Focused Instructional Training (FIT) programs, cross-categorical classrooms, early elementary, and kindergarten students. Notably, Tuesdays feature an in-class language group session in the FIT room. Additional responsibilities include assisting with front car rider morning duty and afternoon dismissal duties for second grade and kindergarten ball field walkers.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Missouri license as an SLP or SLPA required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in school settings, particularly elementary, is highly valued
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage a varied caseload
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services
- Conduct consultations and collaborate with classroom teachers and staff
- Document student progress and maintain all necessary records
- Participate in school routines, including language group facilitation and assisting with daily student transitions
