Work with a diverse caseload covering students from kindergarten through fifth grade, including 1st, 2nd, and 5th graders, as well as students in flexible instructional tracks and cross-categorical classrooms. Each Tuesday features an engaging in-class language group within the FIT room. Additional responsibilities include morning car rider duty and supporting second grade and kindergarten students during dismissal. The assignment is full-time, from 8:50am–4:25pm, beginning as soon as possible and extending through December 4, with potential for longer placement.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Missouri SLP-CCC or SLPA licensure required
- School-based experience preferred, ideally with elementary or cross-categorical populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience with language groups and diverse student needs is a plus
- Ability to engage students in inclusive settings and adapt to various instructional models
Responsibilities in This Role:
- Conduct speech-language therapy for a caseload of 37 direct students and 2-3 consults
- Deliver in-class language group interventions every week
- Document progress, develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with staff and families
- Participate in routine school duties such as morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal, providing support and ensuring student safety
