Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting and with K-12 caseloads strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and excellent written/verbal communication
- Confidence overseeing and supporting SLPAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Supervise and provide guidance to two SLPAs, ensuring best practices and quality of services
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and track student progress
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to coordinate support
- Collaborate with the special education team to facilitate student growth and achievement
