Ideal candidates bring:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Montana SLP license (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is highly valued
- Thorough understanding of IEP development and management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate professionally with educational staff, students, and families
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a K-12 student caseload with varying communication needs
- Conducting assessments and evaluations in accordance with school standards
- Developing and implementing detailed and effective IEPs
- Providing ongoing supervision and support to SLPAs
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation
