Make a meaningful impact by supporting students ages 3–21 in a dynamic educational environment focused on independence and communication. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 11, 2027 (with possible extension for makeup days). Serve a caseload of 25–40 students with a range of visual, cognitive, medical, and orthopedic needs. Your expertise as an SLP will help empower these students, many of whom are non-verbal, by integrating communication systems into their daily routines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Experience supporting diverse needs, including AAC device setup and usage
- Familiarity with non-verbal communication strategies (eye gaze, tactile/picture systems, low-tech devices)
- Understanding of individualized, functional goals in a school-based setting
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to a varied caseload
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech-language services Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
- Serve students with a range of needs, integrating communication supports seamlessly into their routines
