Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact, primarily serving elementary students (K-6) during school hours. You’ll be part of a collaborative educational environment dedicated to fostering student growth and communication skills.
This role is structured for the 2026-27 school year, with a flexible end date, offering 35-40 hours per week within a school-based schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm). You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 35 students per SLP, working both onsite and with the possibility of up to one remote day each week.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must possess current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Experience working as an SLP in school or pediatric healthcare settings is required
- Open to candidates with CCC, CFY, or previous school-based SLP experience
- Proficiency or comfort with using educational software for IEPs/progress tracking (Sapphire experience is a plus)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills essential
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide direct assessment, intervention, and support services for K-12 students (primarily K-6)
- Develop, implement, and track student IEPs using provided technology and software
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student language and communication needs
- Offer consultation regarding speech and language strategies for classroom integration
- Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing professional development
