School Speech Language Pathologist - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
A dynamic and supportive school environment is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials to provide onsite services to middle and high school students. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering direct therapy and collaborating with educators and families.
In this role, you will manage a general caseload, support students’ communication needs, and act as a valued resource for staff and administration. The position is onsite only—virtual placements have already been filled. You'll play a vital role in student success during standard school hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license and ASHA CCC required
- Previous experience in a school setting
- Thorough understanding and completion of all Pennsylvania clearances
- Comfortable and experienced working in urban school environments
- Ability to work onsite with students in grades 6–12
- Willing and able to commute reliably; reliable transportation is essential
- Flexible to work between 7:15AM–4:00PM, as assigned
- No accommodations made for alternative schedules
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy per student IEPs
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support conferences
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
The contract starts as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2027, providing the stability to build strong relationships with students and staff. Zoom interviews will be conducted for qualified candidates.
