Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC certification required
  • Prior experience in a school setting is essential
  • Comfortable and experienced working in urban schools
  • Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
  • Reliable transportation; must commute onsite
  • Available to work 35 hours weekly between 7:15AM-4PM (no flexibility in schedule)
  • Confident working in Chester, PA, and enthusiastic about the district’s vision

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to middle and high school students
  • Manage a diverse and dynamic caseload onsite
  • Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Attend meetings and provide consultative services to staff and families as needed
