Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification required
- Prior experience in a school setting is essential
- Comfortable and experienced working in urban schools
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
- Reliable transportation; must commute onsite
- Available to work 35 hours weekly between 7:15AM-4PM (no flexibility in schedule)
- Confident working in Chester, PA, and enthusiastic about the district’s vision
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy to middle and high school students
- Manage a diverse and dynamic caseload onsite
- Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Attend meetings and provide consultative services to staff and families as needed
