Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to varying age groups and learning styles
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a preK-12 student population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and report on outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input for goal setting and progress evaluations
- Deliver both group and individualized therapy sessions, adapting strategies as needed
