Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state SLP license or eligibility in Pennsylvania
- At least 1 year of recent school-based SLP experience preferred
- Solid understanding of developing and implementing IEPs
- Experience with K-5th grade populations highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 55 elementary students
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and accurately interpret results
- Develop, write, and update IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain timely and thorough progress notes and related documentation
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development
