As a travel SLP, you’ll work initially with school-age students in a rewarding, contract-based role through mid-October. The role then transitions seamlessly to cover two upcoming maternity leaves—one starting mid-October, the other in mid-December. If you haven’t committed to a contract yet, this opportunity allows you to enjoy variety by supporting both school-age children and, later in the year, Early Intervention programs—all within Dauphin County.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license (CCC or CFY considered)
- Prior experience in school settings desired
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students
- Document progress and collaborate with educational staff and families
- Adapt therapy plans for changing needs as assignments shift
- Support developmental milestones as you transition into Early Intervention
