School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Camp Hill, Pennsylvania
Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students in Dauphin County, just outside the Hershey area. This contract-based role offers speech-language pathologists the chance to make a substantial impact across multiple school settings. Start with a school-age caseload through mid-October, then transition to cover two maternity leaves—one beginning mid-October and another in mid-December. Afterward, there's an additional opportunity to support Early Intervention programs for the remainder of the school year.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP licensure and all required state credentials
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued, but not required for CFYs with strong practicum backgrounds
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and caseloads
- Strong communication and documentation skills for collaborating with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to school-age students
- Serve a diverse caseload in both individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other professionals to support each student’s success
- Seamlessly transition to Early Intervention services later in the year, applying expertise to younger children and their families
